            Painting Holiday

Painting holiday in France

Overview

Wake up to golden French light, historic villages, and sunflower fields. Join a small-group painting tour designed for artists who want inspiration, guidance and unforgettable landscapes.

Set in the heart of rural France in Burgundy you will stay in a manor house owned by artist Lesley Coverdale and her husband Cliff. The small group size ensures personalised attention and a truly enriching experience. The itinerary is relaxed yet full of interest. You can do as much or as little as you wish.

Experience sessions with all materials provided – including sketchbooks, canvases, portable easels, painting plein-air in one of the charming villages nearby.

We will also take time to explore our local area including the famous vineyard territories of Chablis, fresh food markets, the Chateau d’Ancy-le-Franc, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Abbey de Fontenay and the city of Auxerre.
